Wifi access points in the campus, including those within the college area activated last week are still under technical adjustments as per Information Communications Technology Center (ICTC) announcement, Sept. 25.

“Stabilization period pa lang ngayon kaya may cases na hindi pa sya (wifi) okay,” Melchor De Las Alas, ICTC’s Head of Network Solutions , said when asked about the status of the wifi activation.

The ICTC also emphasized in their announcement that for at least two weeks, certain portions of the network will not be accessible to video streaming through Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion and other similar data traffic sites during the enhancement of the network.

“Give us atleast two weeks to work on this stabilization and expect an agnostic and fabric network after this,” ICTC Tech Support Head, Allan Lucero said.

Wifi activation is one of the digital campus initiatives on implementing the Learning Management System, as an online educational platform intended for educational purposes such as discussions, announcements, activities, tracking of student’s progress, posting of grades and viewing of the course syllabus.

Preceding this event was the announcement of College EduTech Lead, Mark De Vera on the accessibility of DLSL students’ accounts, Sept. 15.
