De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) Lady Stallions sent a clear statement against their rivals University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD) Lady Altas, 25-23, 25-21,25-15 to conclude the championship match of Southern Luzon Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SLCUAA), held at the Animo Center, Dasmariñas Cavite, Nov. 4. 

Rose Punzalan led the Stallion’s charge for the back to back title as she aced crucial points in the finishing moments of the first and second set.

The squad from Lipa capitalized on chance balls as their gathered attacks went through the teeth of the Altas’ defense ending the first and second sets for a close 25-23 and 25-21.

In the last set, the floor defense of Altas collapsed drawing the last five points from unforced errors and aces from services and clinching the gold for the lady Stallions, 25-15.

Stallions also ruled the semis bout yesterday after finishing STI College with devastating scores advantage throughout the three sets, 25-18, 25-15, 25-8.
