De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) proudly announced 45 new Registered Electrical Engineers (REE) and one Registered Master Electrician (RME) who passed the recently held licensure examinations.
With 45 out of 75 examinees passing, DLSL achieved a 60% passing rate for the REE exam, which is 3.33% lower than the national passing rate of 63.33%. This also marks a slight decline of 2.50% from the institution’s previous rating of 62.50% last September 2023.
In an interview, REE passer Maricar Icay Tapat shared that the most challenging part of her review process was overcoming her own doubts.
Despite these mental hurdles, she persevered, highlighting the importance of having a strong support system throughout the journey.
“I am thankful that I have my friends with me who answer my questions when it comes to some difficult computations during review […] even though it means they’ll have less review time on their side,” said Tapat.
Meanwhile, the sole RME passer contributed to a 100% passing rate for DLSL in this category, compared to the national passing rate of 51.56%.
The REE and RME licensure examinations were administered on April 24 and 25 at various testing centers nationwide.
