De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) Samahan ng Lasalyanong Retratista (SLR) and Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA) – DLSL Chapter were the foremost awarded, with no organization qualifying for the Faith, Service, and Communion (FSC) Award for the second consecutive year at Gawad Lasalyano 2026 held at the Sentrum, May 30.

DLSL SLR topped the Special Interest (SPIN) Organization division and obtained the Beacon of Communion, as well as Outstanding Organization Officer, and Award of Excellence for Organizational Presidency for Marineth Morainne Ventura and Marc Reuel Mista, respectively.

Meanwhile, JPIA-DLSL Chapter acquired first place in the Top Professional (PROF) Organization category, alongside merits such as the Outstanding Organization Advocate for United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Award for Peace and Global Partnership, and Star of Faith.

The coveted FSC Award was last bestowed upon JPIA-DLSL Chapter in 2024.

Following their triumph as one of the most awarded organizations, succeeding SLR President Ventura expressed her intent to showcase the organization’s talents outside the institution.

“For next term, we are […] aiming to bring SLR […] outside school. So gusto namin mas mapalaki [‘yung] nakakakita [sa] talents namin—hindi lang […] Lasallian community, but also ‘yung mga may hilig din sa photography outside school,” said Ventura.

Mista, Excellence for Organizational Presidency Awardee, further highlighted the importance of humility while knowing one’s purpose as a leader.

“Always know kung para saan […] [at] para kanino ka ba gumagawa, and kailangan na hindi mo […] isipin kung ano ‘yung […] puwede mo ma-receive in the future. […] every […] sitwasyon, give mo lang ‘yung best mo […] na ready to […] help, volunteer, [and] present yourself in the community […] kailangan mo […] i-keep yung feet mo sa ground,” Mista said.

Moreover, incoming Council of Student Organizations (CSO) Chairperson Lance Raphael Guevara shared his vision to unite organizations in service for the student body.

“I believe this upcoming school year mas maganda if mas mai-immerse ang ating student leaders to be [in] one college community […] not under [the CSO], but with the CSO by [partnership] ng lahat ng orgs kasi ‘di ba nga we serve the community; [it’s] not the community [that] serves us,” Guevara emphasized.

Under the theme of “Knight of Valor: The Reign of Legacy,” Gawad Lasalyano 2026 recognized student leaders, organizations, and teachers under CSO for their significant contributions to the Lasallian community throughout the academic year.
