The LAVOXA Group of Publications, De La Salle Lipa’s (DLSL) official college student publication, garnered recognition after competing in the 3rd National Campus Journalism Convention (NCJC) and the Organization of Student Services Educators, Inc. (OSSEI) National Conference on Campus Journalism and 19th Writing Competition.

Five came out victorious in their individual competitions during the three-day NCJC conference organized by Transforming Advocates and Champions (TRAC) at The Manila Grand Opera Hotel, Santa Cruz, Manila last March 9 to 11:
- Mharq Ghierzey Abe – Champion, Feature Writing (English)
- Bea Kathrina Aguila – 1st Runner-Up, Sports News Writing (Filipino)
- Daniel Eric Manalang – 1st Runner-Up, Editorial Cartooning
- Allen Benedict Orense – 2nd Runner-Up, News Writing (Filipino)
- Paul Fidel Pasia – 2nd Runner-Up, Sports News Writing (English)
The attainment of these awards secured the publication’s overall rank as 2nd runner-up against 50 other schools.

Likewise, five students titled in their categories at the OSSEI 19th Writing Competition, held at the Baguio Crown Legacy Hotel, Baguio City, last March 13 to 15:
- Juan Valentin Tan – 4th Place, Page Layout and Design
- Kim Jhazrel De Mesa and Jitka Dirilo – 4th Place, Editorial Cartooning
- Marvin Caruncho – 5th Place, Development Reporting
- Bea Gadiana – 5th Place, Page Layout and Design
Both conferences provided campus journalists with valuable insights on serving the community through truthful narratives and investigations.
