

Joining the lineup of topnotchers, De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) alumna Hazel Joie Umali landed on the eighth spot of recently concluded 10th Industrial Engineering Certification Examination with a rating of 81.78, Dec. 7.
Aside from Umali, 23 DLSL Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE) graduates also contributed to the school’s overall performance corresponding to a 50% passing rate. This result is 8.82% lower than this year’s national passing rate and is 2.08% lower compared to institution’s previous rating of 52.08%.
The Certified Industrial Engineering (CIE) examination was administered by the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE) through Industrial Engineering Certification Board (IECB) to 918 takers nationwide last Nov. 25.
