Out of 76 examinees, De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) yielded 43 new electronics engineers (ECE) from the recently concluded Electronics Engineering (ECE) Board Exam, Oct. 26.
Corresponding to the 56.58% passing rate of DLSL, the school’s performance is 5.93% higher than the October 2018 results for DLSL at 50.65%. Relatively, this year’s results are 7.15% higher than the national passing rate of 49.43%.
With 2,460 passers out of 4,977 takers, the national passing rate for October 2019 fell short by 0.06% compared to the 49.49% national passing rate earned last October 2018.
On the other hand, correlating with the passing rate of 63.64% for DLSL, 21 out of 33 examinees passed the Electronics Technician (ECT) licensure examinations.
The ECE licensure examinations were administered last Oct. 19-20, followed by the ECT licensure examinations in Oct. 21.
