De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) achieved a 52% passing rate in the 2023 Bar Examination, resulting in 15 new lawyers, Dec. 5.
DLSL’s current passing rate is slightly lower compared to the 69.23% from the previous year but exceeds the 36.77% national passing rate, where 3,812 out of 10,387 examinees successfully passed nationwide.
In an interview with Lavoxa Online, Aldin Gonzales, a DLSL professor and one of the passers, said that he could not exactly describe the feeling when he found out that he had passed the bar exam.
“It just felt that the hardships and difficulties brought by law school paid off. My strong faith in God makes me believe that this is the time that God prepared for me,” Gonzales said.
The 2023 Bar Examinations was held last Sept. 17, 20, and 24, at 14 local testing centers across the country.
Meanwhile, the oath-taking and roll-signing ceremony for the 2023 Bar Examination passers took place at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, yesterday, Dec. 22.
