Christmas is here.
Paskong Lasalyano kicked off the Christmas countdown in De La Salle Lipa with green and white stars shining at the Capilla de San Juan Bautista De La Salle last night, Nov. 29.
The event was organized to showcase the lighting of the Christmas tree embellished with stars from the “New Christmas Star” fund raising activity of the Stallion Drive.
According to Miguel Ramirez, VP for Internal Affairs of the Stallion Drive, New Christmas Star’s proceeds will be used to aid the tuition fee of selected Junior High School students for the upcoming year.
He explained that funds will be raised through donations obtained from people purchasing stars at 500 pesos each.
Also showcased in the event were group performances from Teatro lasalyano, DLSL Voices, JPIA Hearts in Motion, Campus Ministry Choir, and Musikalista, and individual performances by Lucas Garcia, Joshua Marasigan, Sendhara Trillanes, Cedrick Manguiat and Korina Merle.
