The final exams aren’t the only stressful thing that happened yesterday.

A third year BS Accountancy student reported that almost P4,100 worth of cash and her ATM card were stolen after her red Hawk bag went missing at the first floor of Students’ Center (SC), North Wing, May 31.

“Nasa table ako nun, malapit sa milk tea na store, nag-aaral. Nasa likod ko ‘yung table kung nasa’n yung bag ko. Nakalimutan ko na na may dala akong bag. Sobrang occupied kasi ng utak ko nun,” she said.

She said that she realized her bag was missing at 12:45 PM when she was about to proceed to their assigned room for the final examinations.

David Gabriel, one of the maintenance personnel assigned at SC said that he found the bag inside the trash bin near the comfort rooms in the South Wing as he was taking out the trash, 3:30 PM.

He immediately reported the incident to the College Student Activities Office (SAO) who advised him to surrender the bag to the Discipline’s Office (DO).

There are no working CCTV cameras in the said building and the suspect remains unknown as of press time.

The incident has been reported to DO while the student’s bag and emptied wallet were the only ones retrieved. (with reports from Kristel Recohermoso)
