Howling in glory, the lions flaunted their crowns as they triumphantly defended their title as victors of the Lasallian Cup at the De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) Sentrum, Oct. 2.

Pumping up the crowd, the Salindayaw Dance Company glided with rhythmic grace and charm, amplified by the parade of the Mr. and Ms. LS Cup candidates in their vibrant attires that turned heads as the evening reached its peak.

Mesmerizing the crowd with poised confidence, Soaring Avians’ Dominic Jan Tesoro shared the crown with Dauntless Hunters’ Jacey Reanne Uy as Mr. and Ms. Lasallian Cup 2026, concluding the contest to a radiant blue and gold finish.

In an interview with Lavoxa, Tesoro championed empowerment beyond physical looks and emphasized his determination to uplift unheeded voices.

“I can be a role model to the whole Lasallian community by simply showing that I am not limited to my physical appearance. I have many things to show. I am an athlete and […] an AB communication student who will continue to amplify voices,” said Tesoro.

Bound by the shared struggles and reflections, Uy acknowledged the toll of pageantry and extended heartfelt gratitude towards the people who supported her.

“It wasn’t really easy to join [a] competition, especially a pageant, because you have to face a lot of struggles [and] self-doubts. But when you have a good team behind you, you will conquer every [challenge] shown up to you,” expressed Uy.

With pride burning like a rising flame, the crowd roared as CITE sealed a precarious two-peat reign with 418 points.

Basking in the glory, CITE Governor Rafael Luis Mendoza voiced his gratitude for everyone who put in the effort and offered the victory as tribute to the CITE community.

“It’s the person over the competition […], because the competition will give itself to us if we prioritize the person. […] The players, the coaches, the faculty, everyone comes first, the competition is last. It will come, if we prioritize those things,” shared Mendoza.

With heads held high, CBEAM Dauntless Hunters settled into first runner up, while CIHJEAS Soaring Avians and CON Valiant Antlers rounded out the podium as second and third runner up.
