After three years, the Lasallian Cup returns in full swing.

The House of the Dragon-themed Lasallian Cup 2022 set colleges into battle as players marched in the opening ceremony at the De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) Sentrum, May 8.

House Lannister roars “Ibalik ang korona sa CBEAM!” while defending champions House Targaryen CITE retaliates as they chanted “Walang ibabalik!”. House Hightower CIHTM and CON continue to intensify their alliance, while House Velaryon CEAS seek to turn the tide of battle.

Meanwhile, various Lasallian talents added excitement to the event with performances from DLSL Indak, Musikalista and Salindayaw Dance Company.

Former coach of DLSL women’s volleyball team and current coach of F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, Regine Diego, addressed the audience with her words of encouragement. She also added that she wanted to empower women in sports.

Chancellor Erickson Martinez was also present during the event as he noted in his opening remarks that players should enjoy the Lasallian Cup and exhibit sportsmanship regardless of the results.

As the candidates of Mr. and Ms. Lasallian Cup 2022 entered with dominating brilliance, applauses filled the Sentrum with overwhelming support from the crowd.
