The Lasallian Cup 2023 commences with the theme “Battle of the Factions”, fueling the rivalry among colleges at the De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) Sentrum, Nov. 6.
Clad in their department colors, CICON proudly led the opening parade, CEAS blazingly followed shortly after, while CBEAM ignited the venue with their fierce yell, and CITE bellowed to defend the championship title.
Danzcom Pep Squad’s routine was followed by performances from Salindayaw Dance Company and Musikalista, further adding to the event’s entertainment.
Meanwhile, Letran Knights basketball player and keynote speaker, Kyle Tolentino, inspired the audience as he shared his experiences as a student-athlete.
To officially open the annual sportsfest, Chancellor Erickson Martinez delivered his opening remarks, highlighting the importance of displaying sportsmanship and camaraderie throughout the event.
Candidates for Mr. and Ms. Lasallian Cup 2023 took center stage with their introductions, evoking excitement among the crowd.
Following the candidates’ appearance, the opening ceremony concluded with the modern dance competition, which had everyone fired up as they witnessed exquisite performances from each department.
