LAVOXA Group of Publications, the official collegiate student publication of De La Salle Lipa (DLSL), garnered four awards at the Regional Higher Education Press Conference (RHEPC) 2026 held Feb. 14 to 16 at Batis Aramin Resort and Hotel in Lucban, Quezon, with two Lavoxans advancing to the Luzon-wide Higher Education Press Conference (LHEPC).
Daniel Eric Manalang placed 3rd in Digital Editorial Cartooning, while Ashley Jericka Jalon secured 5th place in Digital Literary Graphics Illustration, both qualifying for the 21st LHEPC in Tuguegarao, Cagayan to be held on March 17 to 19.
Moreover, Bea Kathrina Aguila clinched 7th place in Sports Writing (Filipino), with Juan Valentin Tan ranking 8th in Infographics.
RHEPC is an annual competition that promotes responsible journalism, gathering 680 delegates from 34 participating schools this year under the theme “Pens Ignited: Championing Truth.”
